Pre-School Practitioner
We are looking for a positive, committed & enthusiastic Pre-school practitioner to join our unique setting to support the Ofsted registered pre-school provision. The successful candidate will be responsible for working as part of a team providing support services tailored to the needs of children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse, also working in partnership with mothers to support them with their parenting.
The successful applicant will:
- Have experience of working within the EYFS
- Have a relevant and recognised childcare qualification at Min level 3
- Have the ability to develop positive relationships with children, young people and their mothers
- Be able to observe confidentiality protocols and boundaries, and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Have a clear understanding of and commitment to best safeguarding practice for children and we hope you have an understanding of safeguarding practice for adults
- Be compassionate, empathetic and non-judgemental with your children’s, young people’s and their families situation
25 hours per week (The post is term time only Mon- Fri 9.30am-2.30pm)
£18,161 per annum pro rata

Children & Young People’s Support Worker
Fixed Term – to 31 December 2020
We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic Children’s Support Worker to join our team working in our unique setting, supporting the needs of children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse. The successful candidate will be part of the team responsible for the support of children and young people up to the age of 18.
The successful applicant will have:
- Appropriate qualification to Level 3
- Experience of working within a childcare setting and knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and we hope you will have experience of working with children and young people of a range of ages.
- The ability to develop positive relationships with children, young people and their mothers and have knowledge of practical parenting skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding children & young people.
- A compassionate, empathetic and non-judgemental approach towards your children, young people and their family’s situation.
37.5 hours per week (covering 9am-5pm weekdays) – we are happy to consider recruiting to two part-time positions to cover these hours
£20,874 per annum
