Complex Needs Integrated Team – Job Vacancies

Next Chapter (previously named CTWR) are working  in partnership with Open Road to provide support to women with complex needs and multiple disadvantages which are as a result of the domestic abuse they have experienced.  Open Road will work with us to provide the specialist substance misuse support alongside our specialist domestic abuse services, forming an integrated team to provide holistic specialist support to women in our Complex Needs Refuge.  We are now looking for the right people to build our complex needs team to provide this support.

 

Complex Needs Evening/Weekend Support Worker (2 roles) (fixed term to 30 Sept 2020)

We are looking for a positive & committed Complex Needs Evening/Weekend Support Worker to join our newly formed team working in our Complex Needs Refuge.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the women in our complex needs refuge during the evenings and/or during the weekend (and where appropriate to their children).  The evenings and weekends can be particularly lonely for residents traumatised by domestic abuse, and this role will play an important part in helping women to recover and establish their independent lives.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have experience of working in a residential setting and with or alongside vulnerable people.
  • Be well-organised, show initiative and be proactive when managing their workload.
  • Be compassionate, empathetic and non-judgemental with your service-users situation.
  • Have an ability to observe confidentiality protocols and boundaries, and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Have a clear understanding of and commitment to best safeguarding practice (Adults and Children)

2 Roles Available

  1. 15 hrs per week (5pm – 10.00pm) Fri – Sun
  2. 16 hrs per week (8.30am – 5pm) Sat – Sun

£9.12 per hour

Complex Needs Overnight Support Worker (2 full-time roles)(fixed term to 30 Sept 2020)

Full-time shifts are 10pm – 8am (working on a rolling 4 nights on/4 nights off rota) 

This is a sleeping night shift.  Waking hours 10pm – midnight and 7am – 8am

£15,694 per annum
