Community DAP Team Leader

We are looking for a committed, passionate and proactive professional to lead our team of Community Domestic Abuse Practitioners.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality specialist support to women, men and their children living in the areas of Colchester, Tendring, Braintree and Uttlesford.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be experienced in managing a team and individuals
  • Have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and the impact on victims and their children.
  • Understand the principles of risk management and safety planning.
  • Be able to make sound judgements in difficult situations
  • Be compassionate and empathetic
  • Be proactive and be able to manage a varied workload.

Full-time 37.5 hours per week (to be worked across split-shifts covering 8am – 8pm) and participation in manager on-call rota

£25,969 – £27,880 depending on qualification & experience

The successful applicant will:

  • Be compassionate and empathetic

We are looking for a passionate, professional and proactive IDVA to provide a high quality specialist frontline domestic abuse service to high risk victims by assisting them to access services to support and keep them safe.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have significant experience of working with individuals experiencing domestic abuse.
  • Be experienced in working in a multi agency partnership setting.
  • Be highly skilled in making sound judgements in crisis and difficult situations.
  • Be compassionate and empathetic.

Full time – 37.5 hours per week (to be worked across split-shifts covering 8am – 8pm) with participation in on-call rota

£21,635 – £24,342 depending on qualification & experience (on-call duties paid separately according to shifts worked)
