Many people don’t want to come into the Refuge or need support after leaving and we can help with this through our Community team.

The Community team will help you to consider your options and make the right choices for your future at your own pace. An Outreach Worker will listen to you, believe what you say and offer practical and emotional support. All our services are free of charge.
The Community workers will be able to offer practical and emotional support.
Help with children
Our staff will discuss what you want for your children.
Group support programme
These programmes can help you come to terms with your experience of domestic abuse and develop ways of preventing it happening again.
The Roads to Recovery sessions and Freedom programmes offer group support to help you understand the experiences of domestic abuse and help you to develop resilience to move forward and to make choices.
