Staying at home
Many people don’t want to come into the Refuge or need support after leaving and we can help with this through our Community team.
If you need help
You can call 01206 500585 or 01206 761276, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Outside of these times, we have an on call service available for urgent assistance.
To make a referral please select Option 1 on either of the above numbers.
The Community team will help you to consider your options and make the right choices for your future at your own pace. A Domestic Abuse Practitioner will listen to you, believe what you say and offer practical and emotional support. All our services are free of charge.
Help with children
Our staff will discuss what you want for your children.
Group support programme
These programmes can help you come to terms with your experience of domestic abuse and develop ways of preventing it happening again.
The Roads to Recovery sessions and Freedom programmes offer group support to help you understand the experiences of domestic abuse and help you to develop resilience to move forward and to make choices.
If you want any more information about any of these services, please call
01206 500585 or 01206 761276, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
At other times, our on call service will be available.
